Seaside, Oregon
We just took a trip to Seaside with Janette, Will and family.
Us standing in front of the quaint little house we stayed in at Seaside. It was a convenient 2 blocks away from the beach. 
Janette was the bravest of us all and endured the freezing water for long periods of time searching and catching lots of crabs which she generously gave to some of the locals for eating. 
Cassie was the best sport when she let Will and Carissa bury her in the cold wet sand. She was surprised when she couldn't free herself.
Cannon Beach with Haystack Rock in the background. We were told it would be warmer and clearer, but it was just clearer on the beach that day. We froze in the cold wind.
By the time we left Cannon Beach Braden was pretty fed up with the whole trip idea. 
Luckily grandpa discovered a new mood elevating experience for him and Braden. Much to my surprise, grandpa brought back the hat as proof of this experience.
With all our crap successfully packed atop of the Durango by Will and grandpa we stopped at Panda Express in Portland to enjoy lunch to keep us satisfied and happy on the trip home.
